Founded by designer and creative director, Alex Eagle, Sporting Club was established on the joy of movement and holistic practice for the mind, body and soul. Creating elevated essentials with a focus on exceptional fabrics and British craftsmanship.

Sporting Club aims to provide classic, minimalist staples that can be seamlessly blended into anyone’s wardrobe, as well as currently having two physical wellness spaces at Oakley Court and 180 The Strand.

Alex chose to work with Lavenham this season as the Sporting Club range focuses on all things Equestrian, combining our brand heritage with our expertise in quilting and craftsmanship.

The collection contains 3 Unisex styles - The Quilted Coat, Jacket and Gilet.

The Jacket and Gilet are elevated takes on two of our most classic pieces - Thornham and Raydon. AESC’s interpretation of these classics use a Halley Stevensons Cotton sourced from Scotland, combined with a lightweight yet warm Premium Wadding. Across the collection, the fits are oversized to create a contemporary fit.

The Quilted Coat references an archive piece sourced by Alex herself - updated with Organic Corduroy Binding and a Shawl Collar, to create a less structured, more fluid shape.
