Founded in 1976, BEAMS has gone on to become one of Japan's leading retailers, with 150 stores spread across Japan as well as locations in Hong Kong, Beijing and Bangkok.

A pioneer of lifestyle retailing, BEAMS imported and sold fashion and homeware products displayed to feel like a UCLA student dorm room, and named its shop American Life Shop BEAMS. BEAMS have gone on to work with iconic brands from around the globe, as well as launching their own in-house labels.

Previously, we have experimented with colour and proportions in AW22, and blending multiple quilt patterns in AW23.

For AW24, the focus of the product is on function, as we introduce reversibility to the garment. With one side a green, unquilted face cloth, and the reverse our 4” diamond quilt, in a contrasting Dark Chocolate.

We have also offered a more understated option in our signature Sable Black colourway, with both being exclusively available from BEAMS and Lavenham.

Having first collaborated in 2021, when BEAMS reinterpreted our classic Raydon jacket, we are now entering the fourth season of our partnership, and the third iteration of the jacket now synonymous with our collaboration, the BEAMS x Lavenham Quilted Bomber Jacket.

The fourth BEAMS x Lavenham collaboration launches globally 9/11/2024.
