A collaboration with Monocle Magazine

This season, Monocle - the lifestyle, travel and global affairs magazine, have worked with us to create a contemporary capsule collection to suit the needs of modern city living and travel. Choosing two of our iconic designs - the Denham jacket and Mickfield gilet, contemporary features have been coupled with our longstanding DNA to provide a modern, functional take on Lavenham classics.

# About Monocle
Monocle magazine was launched in 2007 by Tyler Brule, to provide a briefing on global affairs, business, culture, design. Monocle currently has HQs in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Toronto, Paris and Zurich.

Since then, they have branched into publishing, radio, podcasting and have curated retail spaces in 8 locations, as well as the Monocle Cafe on London's iconic Chiltern Street.

## Behind The Design
As a truly global brand, with a distinct focus on travel, Monocle challenged us to develop “Fit for Purpose” yet subtle features for the modern traveller. Both the Denham and Mickfield feature internal mesh split “Travel” pockets, ideally placed to store essentials when travelling - be it your passport, headphones or your boarding pass.

## Monocle Denham
The Denham jacket is constructed in a tough wearing cotton twill, which will allow it to withstand the rigorous and fast paced nature of city living, whilst each piece will age distinctly with the wearer. It is finished with a contrast organic corduroy collar lining, a nod to our equestrian roots.

## Monocle Mickfield
The Mickfield features the same corduroy lining and travel pockets, but is constructed in a much lighter 100% recycled polyester, a perfect lightweight, functional piece to wear as a standalone outer when travelling, or equally suited to layering under tailoring.
