__Answer 1)__

Both pieces I have chosen represent the versatility of the brand. This can be shown when layered together or worn on their own.

__Answer 2)__

I think the appeal of Lavenham is the wearability of their garments. They have a strong array of simple, easy to style designs, and their quilting has stood the test of time. They have a great unwavering attitude and this can be shown throughout the brand and product. Lastly, in keeping with the authenticity and heritage of Lavenham, I feel it is important that they continue to produce in the UK.

__Answer 1)__

I chose the Unwadded Teynahm primarily for the fit. The contemporary, cropped silhouette allows it to be worn with any bottoms, as well as dressed up or more casually. My other choice is the Unwadded Barton. I love the grown on hood that at first glance may not be able to see when inspecting the product. This gilet is great as a layering piece.

__Answer 2)__

In my opinion, the appeal to Lavenham is the achievement of consistent, timeless pieces with a certain elegance to the product which enables you to pull off an effortless smart casual look.

Items selected:

Telford Mens / Sable Black / L

Unwadded Thornham Mens / Lamp Black / M

__Answer 1)__

I chose the Lightweight Thornham Gilet as I feel it fits in with my current wardrobe perfectly - wearing jackets all the, this weight of gilet acts as a great under layer. With March to April being so difficult to dress due to the unpredictable temperatures, I think having a lightweight stable in your wardrobe is essential.

Also, I have noticed within recent jacket styling trends, as well as seeing a consistency in the more formal wearer with a suit and tie, we can also see the ever growing rise in a dressed-down look with knitwear and sweats. This is where the Lightweight Thornham comes in. I think this piece executes both styling trends perfectly. It can be worn formally or more casually to suit any occasion.

__Answer 2)__

Their traditional manufacturing methods start with quilting, and while they maintain the quality of being Made In England (Suffolk), their simple and sophisticated designs mean they can be worn for a long time without being influenced by trends. They are also appealing because they embody the British country style that evokes horse riding culture and the English countryside.

I have also been keeping an eye on their recent interesting collaborations they have worked on with various different brands. It is also important to note that while their designs are traditional, they have evolved into designs and patterns that blend in with modern fashion.

Cocoon Thornham Womens/ Moonbeam Silver / 10

Unwadded Raydon Womens/ Ochre / 10

__Answer 1)__

The Cocoon Thornam has a very interesting cocoon silhouette created by the small pleats at the bottom of the back of the garment. I fell in love with the moonbeam colour as soon as I saw it in the store.

For my second choice I picked the Unwadded Raydon. I really liked the fact that I could layer it, acting as a shirt.

__Answers 2)__

For me, the appeal of Lavenham is that the product can be worn both elegantly and casually. This allows it to be enjoyed with almost any outfit, regardless of specific styles.

Items selected:

Mickfield Men's / Sable Black / M

__Answer 1)__

Usually I don't tend to wear gilets as I am not a fan of how they sit on my shoulders, but after trying on the Mickfield in store I was pleasantly surprised. I almost felt as if I wasn't wearing the gilet at all - but in a great way. Even though it has been warm, I have still been wearing it everyday.

__Answer 2)__

I usually work in architecture, and I'm very interested in the overall form and proportions of things other than buildings. Among them, I feel that the clothes from Lavenham, which are simple yet classical in shape, are overwhelmingly beautiful, even though I'm just an amateur.
