J. Press Wool Guncheck Mickfield

An exclusive take on our classic Mickfield for Ivy League outfitters J Press constructed from an Italian guncheck wool, specially developed by Lavenham for this collaboration, inspired by the original gunchecks used in Scotland since the 1800s, and the sports jackets worn by the Ivy League students of the 1960s.  

The Mickfield features the original stand collar found on the first Lavenham gilets, dating back to 1972. 

A more modern fit than our Classic Mickfield, this gilet fits true to size, with functional external patch pockets and an internal chest pocket. A soft 70g wadding adds warmth and comfort.

UK Deliveries

All UK deliveries are shipped with UPS next day delivery. This costs £6.00 or is free for orders over £250. The cut off for next day delivery is 1pm. We operate a 4 day working week so orders placed after 1pm on Thursday will not be processed until Monday.
